After destruction of the Bolivar Peninsula Road and Bridge Facility by Ike, Easterwood Architects Studio was selected as part of a team to design it’s replacement in Crystal Beach, at the Galveston County Bolivar campus. The project includes site bulk storage areas, maintenance warehouse, and about 2,000 SF of office space and a training room. The project was designed to withstand category 5 storms and was built 3’ above the required base flood elevation.
